Quick Lab Results

At Valley Family Medicine, we have many lab tests that can be done in the office. Having these simple tests done in the office means you get the results quickly so you can get back to your busy life.

For the tests that cannot be done at the clinic, we have multiple off-site laboratories that we can choose from. All off-site laboratories pick up specimens daily, so we have most test results back to us the next morning.

In-Clinic Lab Tests

  • Strep Screen
  • Influenza A/B
  • RSV
  • Mono
  • Urinalysis
  • Urine/Serum Pregnancy Test
  • Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR)
  • Urine Drug Screen

Osteopathic Manipulation

That fact that Dr. Van Hoozen is a D.O. (Osteopathic physician) means he is capable of doing manipulations similar to what a chiropractor does. Osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) is incorporated in the training and practice of osteopathic physicians. By combining all available medical procedures with OMT, Dr. Van Hoozen can offer his patients the most comprehensive care available.

State and Federal USDOT/FMCSA Physicals

Dr. Van Hoozen is certified to preform State and Federal USDOT/FMCSA Physicals (formerly known as CDL/DOT).
